Terms of Use
Last updated: October 26, 2026
These terms describe permitted use of the Marinship Industries Storage website. They do not replace a signed storage rental agreement, establish a reservation, or waive rights provided by California or federal law. The legal contracting entity must be identified in your rental agreement.
1. Website information and reservations
The website provides information about boat, RV, trailer and unit storage. Calling or emailing does not, by itself, create a rental or guarantee space. Prices, availability, dimensions, access hours, eligibility and permitted activities must be confirmed with the office and in the applicable rental agreement. Dimension drawings and size guides are illustrative, not guaranteed measurements or warranties that particular belongings will fit.
2. Storage rental agreements and California law
Rent, deposits, billing, cancellation, refunds, access, insurance, prohibited items, maintenance and termination are governed by the signed agreement and applicable law, not invented by these website terms. Ask the office for the agreement and all disclosures before committing to a rental.
Where the California Self-Service Storage Facility Act applies, required written rental-agreement disclosures, alternate notice-recipient information, lien notices, waiting periods and sale procedures must be followed. This page does not create a lien or authorize disposal of stored property. Website use is not written consent to email lien notices, nor a substitute for the statutory process. Boat, vehicle and outdoor storage arrangements may involve different applicable rules.
Any applicable commercial-premises accessibility/CASp disclosure, other facility-specific disclosure and emergency price-gouging restriction must be addressed in the proper agreement or business process. Website policies alone do not satisfy those obligations.
3. Acceptable use and ownership
You may view this site and use its information for legitimate storage inquiries. Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, interfere with service, impersonate others or misuse personal information. Site text, branding and media are protected by applicable intellectual property laws; permission is required for reuse unless allowed by law. These terms do not prohibit lawful reviews, criticism or other protected consumer speech.
4. Privacy and third-party services
Read our Privacy Policy and privacy choices. Privacy rights are not waived by visiting the site. Google Maps, reviews and other external services operate under their own policies. A link does not guarantee a third party’s accuracy, availability or security. The site currently has no online rental checkout or payment collection.
5. Security and availability
We aim to provide accurate information and a usable website, but interruptions and errors may occur. Gated access and cameras are security measures, not a promise to prevent every loss or incident. These terms do not create a storage insurance policy or change liability under a signed rental agreement.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for fraud, willful injury or violations of law. No blanket consumer-rights waiver, mandatory arbitration agreement, class-action waiver or shortened statutory claim period is imposed by these website terms.
6. Accessibility and communications
If you have difficulty accessing website information, contact the office for assistance or an alternative way to obtain it. Requesting assistance does not waive disability-access rights. A phone call or email inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing, automated marketing calls or text messages; any legally required consent must be obtained separately. Marketing communications must provide applicable opt-out choices.
7. California law and consumer protections
Applicable California and federal law govern website-related matters, without depriving you of mandatory protections in your jurisdiction. Consumer, privacy, accessibility and other non-waivable statutory rights remain intact. If a provision cannot be enforced, other lawful provisions remain unaffected.
For consumer complaints, California residents may contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Information Center, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N-112, Sacramento, CA 95834; telephone (800) 952-5210 or (916) 445-1254. See DCA complaint information.
8. Updates and contact
Changes are posted here with a revised date. They do not retroactively alter signed rentals or remove accrued statutory rights. Contract terms requiring affirmative consent must be presented and accepted separately; merely publishing this page does not establish that consent.
